Mississauga, ON: 11 January 2022: Polar Racking, a leading supplier and manufacturer of solar mounting systems, is excited to announce our team’s new Engineering Manager, Mariano Gualtieri. Mariano will be leading and overseeing all ground-mount products, including solar axis trackers and carports, prioritizing product improvement and functionalities.

Mariano brings a wealth of experience from the solar thermal and solar photovoltaic sector having worked over 12 years in research and development, design engineering, and manufacturing. His work experience traverses major engineering companies where some of his major career achievements include designing rigorous tests for automotive products.

“We are excited to bring Mariano onboard the Polar Racking team,” says Vishal Lala, Managing Partner at Polar Racking. “With his extensive repertoire of design and industry knowledge, we are confident that Mariano will deliver innovative ideas and solutions that will elevate our racking products.”

Previously, Mariano was the Lead Engineer at Axsus Solar, where he was a key player in designing and developing a single-axis tracker that would support over 1 GW of fixed racking deployment.

“My vision is to make processes more efficient,” says Mariano. “Through careful evaluation of our operations we can find ways to increase productivity, reduce errors, and maximize performance. Polar has some exciting projects coming up in the new year, and I’m feeling energized and determined to leverage my experience to deliver on all those targets.”
